Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas's Gaza Strip, said the blockade imposed by Zionist Israel on Gaza since 2007 would soon be broken.
The Palestinian news agency Ma'an quoted Sinwar as saying Monday to an Egyptian delegation visiting Gaza.
Yahya Sinwar also told the Egyptian delegation that after the recent Gaza war, international opinion is fully in favor of the Palestinians and Hamas will use all means to exploit the situation for the Palestinian people.
When Hamas came to power in the 2008 Palestinian national elections, Zionist Israel imposed an all-out blockade on the Gaza Strip.
As a result, the people of Gaza are completely isolated from the outside world and their standard of living has plummeted.
